Wi-Fi enabled subway stations
All local stations between 59th St. and 96th St. on the 1,2,3 lines and B,C lines are currently wired for free wi-fi. (Try this SSID access code: FreWifibyHTCONE). See the WNYC map of Wi-Fi stations throughout the city. At last report there were 36 of them.

Wi-Fi in the parks
NYC Parks WiFi provides a fast connection to the Internet from portable devices. Guests can login for free for 10 minutes at a time, up to three times in a 30 day period. The service is also available for 99 cents per day for a single device. Qualified Internet subscribers from Cablevision, Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Cox, and Bright House Networks will be able to access NYC Parks WiFi free of charge at all times.
